A member of the FDNY who served at Ground Zero during the fall of the Twin Towers will be present at the ceremony, according to Randy Posey with the City of Fultondale. The FHS band, Leaders from American Legion, local fire and rescue service men and women and law enforcement officials will also attend the dedication ceremony.
A 15 feet by 25 feet American flag will be raised to a height of 75 feet during the ceremony as the city honors and remembers "those who have fallen but [are] never forgotten," Posey said.
