GRAYSVILLE, AL- Two women found alive but incoherent on the side of the road this morning in Graysville have been taken to the hospital.
A passerby called the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday to report two people lying on the side of Highway 78 just past Flat Top Road.
Deputies arrived to the scene and found two women, ages 50 and 58, on the roadside. There was no vehicle nearby, and the women did not have any visible injuries or trauma.
Chief Deputy Randy Christian says the women are both known to use drugs. They were taken to the hospital to be checked out.
