TRUSSVILLE, AL (WBRC)- The City of Trussville is offering an amnesty day on Friday, Feb. 22 for certain outstanding warrants. The amnesty day begins at 8 a.m.
Judge Carl Chamblee, Jr. is offering defendents the chance to clear outstanding warrants for failure to appear, failure to comply and bail jumping for these reasons:
-not appearing in court on original charge
-not completing a court ordered program
-have outstanding fines, court costs and/or restitution
-warrants for writing a bad check
Defendants will have to pay all fines, court costs and restitution that day. If a court ordered program was not completed, the defendant will be re-enrolled in the program.
