Sleet reported in north Alabama | Weather

Light sleet has been reported in Cullman, Trussville and other parts of north Alabama on Wednesday. Fox 6 meteorologist Wes Wyatt says the sleet is caused by evaporational cooling and is “nothing to worry about.”

Wyatt says the light, scattered showers will continue to drift from northwest to southeast Alabama this afternoon. He says we can expect lots of changes in the weather in the next few days, with warming temperatures and a threat of strong storms on Monday.
